Mission Trip #5 - February 2002The F.R.O.G. Center has been completed, debt free. Glory to God! The purpose of the 5th mission trip is to attend the dedication of The F.R.O.G. Center. It is an incredible building, provided to us by an Awesome God. Children flock to the center everyday to participate in recreation activities and to hear the gospel. Muslim parents willingly allow their children to come join the fun at The F.R.O.G. The sports ministry in the schools also continues. The team can now walk into a dozen schools in Mitchell’s Plain and the principal will readily open every classroom to us. One Muslim principal was asked why she would allow a Christian evangelistic team to come into her school. She stated that all she knew was after the team left, the children always behaved and performed better in school. Over 400 people in the community attended the dedication on Sunday afternoon February 24, 2002. It was an awesome day! Todd Wolven came back with the team for the dedication, but was also staying 6 months in Mitchell’s Plain to run the The F.R.O.G. Ministry. |
