The building of The F.R.O.G. Center!

Mission Trip #2     -       September 1999

With the success of the first trip, John Pascoe, Pastor of Westridge Baptist Church, asked me if I would lead a Sports Outreach Seminar at the Love Southern Africa International Missions Conference to be hosted at his church in September 1999.  Again, after much prayer, my wife Janice and I went back to Mitchell’s Plain, South Africa to spend a week leading sports outreach workshops with pastors and lay people from all over Southern Africa.  It was quite an experience.  At least I did join a frequent flier miles program.  I was getting the idea that God was not through with me in South Africa yet.  That would prove to be a great understatement!  It was at this conference that John Pascoe revealed God’s vision for a community center in Mitchell’s Plain whose purpose would be to use sports and recreation activities to reach the community for Jesus Christ.
