our strategy. None of us had ever done a relay.
So we had no strategy, except to take the bracelet and run as fast
as we could!
857am - Crystal encourages hubby Jim, who will run our first leg

veteran marathoner who got Ron into all this
foolishness, drove up from Ennice, NC to see us off.

up...never anticipated we'd be racing against
Superwoman (2nd from left). Teams had started as early as 0630,
and would continue until the last team (2005 winners) started at 1230.
