everyone,
The MMYBL is very excited to be a part of Samaritan's Feet and
its goal of collecting shoes for children around the world. The plan
is as follows:
The league is inviting all coaches to coach barefoot at their game either
January 16, January 23, or January 30.
This helps bring awareness to the desperate need for shoes on children
throughout the world. Coaches that plan to coach barefooted can register
through Samaritans Feet. It only take a few minutes - click
here. This helps them know how many coaches are participating throughout
the country.
We will have information available at the games to inform fans what
it's all about. We would encourage people to bring a pair of new athletic
shoes to one of our host gyms. We will have a collection area for the
shoes at each gym site all three weekends.
We also encourage someone at the gym site to explain to the fans at
halftime of the games about the shoe collections and the opportunity
to text and make a $5.00 donation to Samaritans Feet to help in
the distribution of the shoes. The Coaches

We will pick up the shoes each week and deliver them to Samaritans Feet.
Please forward the information in the links below to all your coaches
and encourage them to use this opportunity to show their players and
families that the league is more than just a great basketball league.
